She couldn't escape the monster. And that monster was herself.

Heartbreaking Casualties

Nearly 200 dead, 400 missing as typhoon Sendong ravaged Cagayan de Oro and Iligan.

First time to experienced such calamity. No electricity for more than 28hours. No water UNTIL NOW. This is such a traumatic tragedy which caused many people to death, others are still missing. Many had lost their homes and their love ones. For us, who have not suffered that much from the calamity let us extend our blessings to those people who are really in need at this very moment. Let us pray for the souls of those who died that they may rest in peace, for those who are still missing, and let us all pray for everyone. This tragedy is really heart breaking, very. But God has plans for us. And he will surely make a way for everything. Let’s just strengthen our faith in Him, He won’t fail us.

This picture was taken from a schoolmate. My heart was squeezed when I saw an album of what had happened to Cagayan de Oro City. This was so tragic. Yes, it was.

It started on Friday. Leaves started to fall down away from those branches. Strong winds was roaming around. Heavy rain was pouring with no time boundary. And that certain typhoon, Sendong, hit the city. Suddenly, flashfloods came, electricity went out, people are trap inside their villages seeing no road to walk upon. As a result, most of the people climb up to their houses roofs. Sendong is the 19th tropical cyclone to lash the Philippines this year. Darn it.

Damn. I feel pity about those people who experienced serious damages. It’s like ohmygosh! I was blessed enough than them. Blessedly, I was, we were. Thank GOD! The face of the city was merely transformed into a horrible one. I need to pray. We need to pray. They needed our help. Until now, lots of people have been missing. All we need to do is pray. Miracles do happen but for me, strong faith would be best. I hope they will be okay right now. *Sigh*
